Travel Trauma ICU RN - $1,887 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Trauma ICU RN to provide exceptional patient care in a Level I Trauma facility. You will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering necessary interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Trauma ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and neurological status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage ventilator settings and care for ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.
• Float as needed to ICU, IMC, and Tele units.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a critical care setting, preferably in a Trauma ICU.
• Current RN license in state of employment.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Epic charting experience is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00).
