About the role
The role is for an RN Intermediate Care in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient progress, including vital signs, weight, and fluid balance.
- Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
- Recognize and manage transplant complications such as infection and rejection.
- Administer medications safely, including immunosuppressants and anticoagulants.
- Provide education and psychosocial support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team and manage medication adjustments post-transplant.
Requirements
- Active MD RN License (or Compact License).
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of IMC experience, with transplant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with organ-specific diseases and knowledge of immunosuppressive agents.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current active RN license.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- At least 2 years of Intermediate Care experience.
- Experience with organ-specific diseases and immunosuppressive agents.
Skills
Necessary skills include:
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of post-operative care protocols.
- Proficiency in managing patient care documentation.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule 3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
