Travel Transitional Care Unit RN (Med Surg/Telemetry) - $2,067 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Transitional Care Unit and Rehab setting, floating to various units as necessary. The nurse will manage a diverse patient population including post-acute care and various surgical and non-acute patients. This role involves charge nurse responsibilities at times based on patient census.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Transitional Care Unit.
- Manage patient ratios effectively: TCU 1:8-10 and Rehab 1:3-5 based on unit census.
- Perform assessments, manage IV therapy, and oversee admissions and discharges.
- Cookordination with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
- Act as charge nurse, responsible for overseeing all patients on the unit during the shift.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a rehab setting or transitional care unit is advantageous.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
