Requirements
- Current driver’s license with permanent address
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Med/Surg background
- Step-down experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care to inpatients across various units based on competency, including ICU, step-down, and medical/surgical units
- Titrate drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro, Cardene, Insulin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and others in step-down areas
- Monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and read strips with assistance from monitor techs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Adhere to unit-specific protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards
