Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data
- Administer medications and titrate anti-arrhythmic drips
- Provide patient education and support during recovery
- Conduct 12 Lead EKG interpretations
- Perform blood administration and cardioversion as required
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as chest pain, atrial fibrillation, stroke rule out, COPD, and kidney stones
- Provide pre/post-op care for procedures like heart catheterizations and colonoscopies
Requirements
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience in telemetry nursing preferred
