Unit Description

Patient population includes treatment of CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, care of the post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab procedures, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. Medications include non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc). May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, as well Renown Regional.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care in a travel assignment capacity
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI's, dysrhythmias, sepsis, and other acute conditions
• Manage post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab procedures
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc.)
• Float to Intensive Care Units for telemetry/medical appropriate assignments, medical-surgical units, and Renown Regional as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, Telemetry
• Licenses: RN-NV
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA; BLS-AHA
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• Work History: Should not be more than 0 days of gap in entire work history
• References: 2 References in entire work history
• Candidate will be required to pass a telemetry competency exam, to include identifying and measuring rhythm strips

Shift & Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

Pay

Pay Rate: $2283.00 - $2400.00 per week (based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
