Join a highly specialized Cardiac Medical/Telemetry Unit caring for a diverse cardiac patient population in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

• Location: Manchester, NH
• Facility: Catholic Medical Center
• Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract: 13 Weeks (Start: August 10, 2026)

Responsibilities & Unit Highlights

• 23-bed Cardiac Medical/Telemetry Unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: Days 1:4, Nights 1:5
• EMR: Allscripts
• Every other weekend worked
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Patient population includes:
  • Acute & chronic heart failure
  • Myocardial infarction (MI)
  • New-onset Atrial Fibrillation (with/without RVR)
  • Stable dysrhythmias
  • ICU step-down patients
  • CVA (Stroke)
  • Pulmonary patients requiring BiPAP or High-Flow Oxygen
• Common procedures & skills:
  • Cardiac catheterization (radial & femoral approach)
  • Pacemakers & ICDs
  • Cardioversions
  • Ablations & EP studies
  • Cardiac medication drips:
    • Amiodarone
    • Diltiazem
    • Dobutamine
    • Milrinone
    • Dopamine (renal dose)
    • Lasix
    • Insulin drips

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry/Med Surg experience
• Strong Cardiac Telemetry knowledge
• ACLS required (BLS and active RN license also required)
• Experience with cardiac drips and post-cardiac procedures
• Comfortable floating to similar units
