About the role

A hospital in California is looking for an experienced MedSurg/Tele nurse for a travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring services
• Assist in managing patient care needs
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds
• Document patient care activities accurately

Requirements

• 2 full years of experience as a registered nurse
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Active California License

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with telemetry equipment

Skills

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
