About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Manahawkin, New Jersey. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care, specifically focusing on telemetry. The RN will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on the patient's needs and will manage the care of patients in alignment with established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and determine priorities for care.
- Develop and coordinate an individualized plan of care for patients based on thorough evaluations.
- Implement therapeutic nursing interventions and document care according to standards of practice.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Participate in continuous education to maintain standards of care and practice.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- NIHSS certification.
- Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Schedule
Day shift, 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00), 36 hours per week, every other weekend. Assignment duration: 13-week contract (also noted as 15 weeks). Start date: 10/26/2026.
