About the role

Travel RN Telemetry position at a 380‑bed Level II trauma center in Alexandria, Louisiana. The facility provides acute care, women’s and children’s services, cancer care, and advanced emergency services. Alexandria is located about two hours from Baton Rouge or Shreveport and features attractions such as the Alexandria Zoo.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or a compact state
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• SSN required
• Date of birth required
• Work history: no more than 90 days gap in the last year

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse
• Telemetry Experience: 2 years (as listed in Required Qualifications)
• RN license (compact accepted, copy needed)
• Certifications: BLS; ACLS

Skills

• Strong cardiac monitoring skills
• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred)
