Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: TelemetryDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 9 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted - Patient population: Adults to geriatrics - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Work setting: Telemetry unit - Common diagnoses: CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5; 16-room unit - Required systems: Epic (mandatory), Pyxis, SBAR - Uniform requirement: Navy blue scrubs - Maximum requested time off (RTO): 7 days - RTO blackout: Every other weekend unless specified otherwise - Floating: Required within facility and scope of practice as needed - No on-call requirements - Holiday expectations: - Work 1 holiday if one falls during assignment - Work 2 holidays if two or more fall during assignment - Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day - Full compliance required before start; non-compliance delays start by 2 weeks - Pre-screening: Clinical review before manager submission - Locals accepted at same rate - Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract lengthMed Ninjas Job ID #17914.
