Travel Telemetry RN - $2,023 per week

About the role

Travel RN‑Telemetry position at a facility in West Allis, WI (Milwaukee area). You will monitor cardiac patients in a medical‑surgical telemetry unit located within a Level IV trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and Primary Stroke Center. The unit offers a supportive multidisciplinary team environment with easy access to city amenities and parks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess cardiac patients, including interpretation of cardiac rhythm strips.
• Provide tracheostomy and chest tube care.
• Manage intravenous drips (e.g., Lasix, Insulin, Heparin) and wound vacuum therapy.
• Float to medical‑surgical units as needed.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level IV trauma center setting.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or qualifying compact state license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical‑surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR recommended.

Skills

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Pay

Pay rate: $1,972.00 – $2,073.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
