About the role
The registered nurse will provide care in a unit that primarily handles a mix of medical-surgical telemetry and progressive care unit (PCU) patients. This is a 13-week contract travel position with a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge plans.
- Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Active Pennsylvania or Compact Nursing License.
- Cerner charting system experience preferred.
- Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
