Travel Telemetry RN - $2,004 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. As a Telemetry Travel Nurse you will monitor patients using cardiac telemetry equipment, interpret data, and provide bedside care. Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb when moving patients.
• Required vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
