About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and medications as directed by a physician.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Iowa.
- At least one year of recent, relevant clinical experience in Med Surg / Telemetry.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring equipment.

Pay
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
12-hour shifts, nights only, starting at 7:00 PM.
