About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for an 8-week travel assignment in Marysville, CA. In this role, you will monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac rhythms for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, delivering high-quality clinical care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor, read, and interpret cardiac rhythm strips and telemetry data for assigned unit patients.
• Identify significant changes in cardiac status or dysrhythmias and intervene promptly following established protocols.
• Administer cardiovascular medications, IV drips, and perform regular patient assessments.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, cardiologists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, cardiac wellness, and medication compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience in a Telemetry or Step-Down unit setting.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
