Responsibilities

Responsible for providing care to patients in a telemetry unit setting. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cardiac Telemetry
• Heparin Protocols
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
• Management of dysrhythmias
• MS/Tele
• Non-invasive airway management
• Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent
• P Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Post Cardiac Angiogram
• Post MI
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
• Telemetry
• Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
• TR Band
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Requirements

Required certifications:

• BLS

Experience: 2.0 year(s)
