Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $3,015 per week

About the role

Telemetry Nurse (Tele) Night Shifts in a healthcare facility's telemetry unit. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those on telemetry monitors, with responsibilities aligned to maintain patient safety and support clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patients on telemetry
• Interpreting strips
• Managing respiratory equipment such as CPAP and BiPAP
• Working within a 6-unit float pool that includes units with 36 beds and critical care of 20 beds
• Passing a cardiac rhythm exam and being able to read and interpret monitor strips
• Working every other weekend
• Participating in holiday rotations
• Reporting to the clinical coordinator prior to shifts for unit assignment

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Valid nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with CPAP and BiPAP equipment
• Cardiac rhythm exam competency
