About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Perform telemetry monitoring and manage patient care in a progressive care unit setting.
- Utilize PCA pumps, IV pumps, chest tubes, and other medical equipment.
- Work in a 12-hour shift, nights.
- Use Meditech for EMR.
- Perform procedures such as central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience.
- BLS & ACLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Candidates must not have any deficiencies in the above requirements.
Skills
- Prior Meditech experience is preferred but not mandatory.
