Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,340 per week

Job Summary

This clinical role involves delivering specialized patient care in an acute care setting on a 12-hour shift schedule. The position requires critical thinking, quick adaptability, and proficient knowledge of telemetry monitoring to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/31/2026

Required Qualifications

• RN licensure
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Specialty: Telemetry
• Department: Cardio Thoracic
• Patient Ratio: Days 1:4-5
• Common Diagnoses: MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, pacemaker/AICD placement, lung surgeries with chest tubes, esophagectomy (not from PACU), general medical overflow

Skills

• EKG interpretation
• Meditation titration (mainly Cardizem and heparin)
• Basic nursing skills
• Reading and interpreting telemonitor strips (Phillips monitors)
• Trsutleshooting CPAP/Bipap devices as required

Additional Responsibilities

• Float to other general medical units as needed

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
• Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday for days; Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for nights)
• Holiday Rotation: Yes, includes Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day (days and nights)

Dress Code

• Any color scrubs, avoiding children/cartoon prints
