Join the top-rated hospital in the Omaha metro area! We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a travel contract at Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE. You will primarily work in the fast-paced Heart Vascular Unit (7HVU), caring for specialty cardiovascular patients, including stable heart/lung transplants and LVADs. This Level I Academic Medical Center offers flexible 13 or 26-week contracts.

Schedule

• Target Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Guarantee options: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend commitment: 4 shifts per 4-week block
• Holiday requirement: must work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays
• Requested Time Off (RTO): up to 2 weeks allowed; must be disclosed upon submission

Responsibilities

• Care for specialty cardiovascular patients, including stable heart/lung transplants and LVADs
• Float frequently to other units, including the Bellevue campus, to meet hospital needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large urban hospital
• Proficient with EPIC charting and managing cardiac drips
• First-time travelers accepted only if your 2 years of experience are at a Level I Academic facility
• Highly adaptable and willing to float frequently
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must reside strictly 100+ miles from the facility
• 100% Nicotine-Free campus
