About the role

Travel Telemetry Nurse (TELE) Nights at Memorial Glenwood. This position involves providing specialized care within a 32-bed Medical Cardiac Telemetry unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure. Responsibilities include titration of specific drips and monitoring cardiac telemetry data to support patient recovery and stability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a Medical Cardiac Telemetry unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 (day) and 1:6 (night).
• Titrate drips such as Amio, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem.
• Monitor and interpret GE telemetry data, including virtual monitoring and strip reading.
• Troubleshoot equipment including High Flow, Bipap, and BiPap ventilators for short-term use (under 24 hours).
• Work collaboratively with a charge nurse who also carries a patient assignment.

Requirements

• Valid AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active nursing license valid for practice in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Telemetry nursing experience.
• Ability to work on-site at the specified location in Chattanooga, TN.

Schedule

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
