Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,120 per week

Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Prescott, Arizona. Assignment starts 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on a days shift (12-hour shifts).

About the role

Provide specialized nursing care on a cardiac/medical unit. The role requires technical proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and adherence to unit protocols to ensure high-quality patient care for patients with CHF, COVID-19, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, post-cath, and total joint replacements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Respond to patient needs
• Work with charge nurse and house supervisor
• Float to appropriate units as needed
• Adhere to dress code (navy blue) and unit-specific protocols
• Sign off on telemetry readings at least once per shift
• Self-schedule shifts for 4-week blocks; weekends required twice per schedule
• Work holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving) with specific shift arrangements
• Float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Two years of RN experience
• Valid nursing license
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility
• Proficiency in reading basic telemetry strips
• Experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement
• Cerner electronic charting experience recommended
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts or face a six-month do-not-utilize restriction
• One day of unit orientation required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience titrating drips such as Diltiazem (Cardizem) at a set rate
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring technology
