Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Telemetry Nurse to join the team in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care to individuals requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and management of various medical conditions, with a focus on critical and acute patients.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Valid license to practice as a registered nurse
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic system preferred)
- Specific skills in telemetry, cardiac drip management, and charge nursing experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working specifically within a telemetry unit
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and acute patient management
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an acute care environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adapt to unit needs including floating to other units as necessary

Pay Package
