Job Summary

The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Telemetry Nurse to join the team in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care to individuals requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and management of various medical conditions, with a focus on critical and acute patients.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• At least 2 years of related experience
• Valid license to practice as a registered nurse
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic system preferred)
• Specific skills in telemetry, cardiac drip management, and charge nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working specifically within a telemetry unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and acute patient management

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an acute care environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adapt to unit needs including floating to other units as necessary

Pay Package
