Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,058 per week

About the Role

We're hiring an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a fast-paced post-operative unit specializing in orthopedic, spine, bariatric, and general surgery patients.

• Location: Lexington, Kentucky
• Specialty: Telemetry / Med Surg RN
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (three 12-hour shifts per week)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel

Unit Highlights

• 23-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Care for Orthopedic, Spine, General Surgery, Bariatric, and occasional Medical patients
• Fast-paced unit with 10–20 post-op admissions daily
• Cardiac and oxygen monitoring capabilities
• EKG competency exam required during onboarding
• Float within skill set as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
• First-time travelers welcome if they have extensive post-op surgical experience, especially with Orthopedic and GI surgical patients
• Active Kentucky or Compact RN License
• AHA BLS required (ACLS not required)
• RTO (Return-to-Work) documentation must be submitted with your application
• At least 1 professional reference
• Previous employment with the health system must be disclosed
• No active license or background issues
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible
