Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Lone Tree, Colorado. The role involves providing dedicated telemetry patient care on a night shift schedule. This role involves managing IV drips, performing EKGs, administering medications, managing devices such as pacemakers and chest tubes, and adhering to unit policies and guidelines. The unit boasts updated equipment and experienced staff, creating an engaging environment for skilled nurses seeking a dynamic assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated telemetry patient care
- Manage IV drips and administer medications
- Perform EKGs and manage devices such as pacemakers and chest tubes
- Adhere to unit policies and guidelines
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Current acute care telemetry hospital experience of at least 1 year
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system
- NIH stroke scale experience
- Prior experience working in large trauma facilities
