About the role
NURSE's Etc. Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Unit details
- Patient population: MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow
- Department handles: Many cardiac drips (does not include nitrate, but manages the drips)
- Nurse/Patient Ratio: 5:1 (can be 6:1 on occasion)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On Call Requirement: No call
- Floating: Required to float when needed
- Dress Code: Ceil Blue scrubs
Shift & schedule
- Shift: 12 hours, nights (7PM - 7AM)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 48 hours
Requirements
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
