Key Responsibilities
- Perform sleep studies
- Operate and calibrate polysomnographic equipment
- Score and stage sleep data
- Administer oxygen and CPAP therapy
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Educate patients on device usage
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited polysomnography or respiratory therapy program
- Valid certification by BRPT (RPSGT) or NBRC (RRT-SDS)
- BLS certification
- Excellent communication, technical proficiency, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Key Duties
- Maintain clinical standards
- Ensure safety and infection control
- Support team training
- Participate in continuing education
