ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week contract in Wilmington, North Carolina. The position starts 10/26/2026, requires 36 hours per week (3×12‑hour night shifts), and is a travel nursing assignment. The Surgical Short Stay unit is a 12‑bed unit caring for adult surgical patients primarily from the PACU with stays

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients with a variety of conditions.
• Monitor and manage patient status during their short stay, including preparation for discharge.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care planning and execution.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, post‑operative care, and recovery processes.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as CBI, Doppler ultrasound, and various infusion systems for patient management.
