About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR Circulate for a 12-week assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Accountable to the OR Charge Nurse, Director of Surgical Services and House Supervisor
- Delivers direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and older adults
- Carefully coordinates patient care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist
- Directs and guides OR Technicians and other personnel
- Maintains standards of professional nursing
- Works with other departments to provide a continuum of care and co-workers to provide continuous, quality patient care, efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization
- Adheres to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services
- Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate
Requirements
- Open Heart experience preferred
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
