Arrow Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a position in Newport News, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons
- Monitor patient vital signs
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Surgical First Assistant in Virginia
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Surgical First Assistant
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical First Assistant training program
- Basic understanding of medical terminology

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
