About the Role

Travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room position available for a 13-week assignment in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• BLS certification via AHA
• ACLS certification via AHA
• PALS certification via AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact

Patient Population and Case Types

Patient population includes Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients.

• Pain (injections/Kyphoplasty)
• ENT (ear tubes/tonsils/sinus/thyroid)
• Urology (cysto/TURP/PCNL/Lithotripsy/robotic sacrocolpopexy/partial kidneys)
• Gynecology (Total lap hysterectomy/ablations/lap gyn/D&C)
• Podiatry
• General (chole/appy/hernias)
• Ortho (hip pinning/knee scope/shoulder scopes)

Note: L&D is a separate unit; no C-sections or deliveries.
