Travel Surgery Registered Nurse - $2,368 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, at a hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through effective communication and documentation.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid license and/or certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS).
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
• Valid Driver's License.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
