Travel Surg Tech - CST/OR

About the role

Working in the Operating Room (OR), the Certified Surgical Technician (CST) assists surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and passing in cases
• Aiding in turning over OR rooms to keep the surgical cases flowing

Requirements

• CST Certification from NBSTA
• National Board of Surgical Technology certification required
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Recent experience in spinal and cranial neuro surgery
• Experience with da Vinci robotics
• Experience in orthopedic and trauma surgery

Benefits

• Mid-shift hours: 12:30p - 11p
• Call schedule: 1 call shift per week, typically 11p-7a or 5p-7a
• Weekend coverage every 8-9 weeks, 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• 72 bi-weekly gross pay
• One week RTO (Rest and Travel Off)

• 4-10 hour shifts
• Mid-shift hours: 12:30p - 11p
• Call schedule: 1 call shift per week, typically 11p-7a or 5p-7a
