About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing patients requiring step-down care from intensive care units.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination.
- Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervising nurses.
- Participate in ongoing education and skill development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in step-down care or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Passport required for international assignments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to relocate for the duration of the assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
