Location: Morgantown, West Virginia. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 12‑hour nights (7:00 pm – 7:30 am), 36 hours per week, travel position.
About the role
The MedSurg Stepdown unit is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care for stable patients requiring stepdown care, with optimal nurse‑to‑patient ratios.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including interpreting telemetry.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatments and procedures.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- BLS certification mandatory; ACLS certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a MedSurg or Stepdown environment is a plus.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
13‑week contract with night shift hours from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
