Travel Stepdown RN - $2,114 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting on September 22, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Work 36 hours per week, rotating 12-hour shifts, nights only.
• Complete 13 weeks of 12-hour night shifts.
• Preferred candidates should have at least one year of stepdown/tele experience.
• Prior NIHHS stroke certification is preferred.
• Leadership experience is desired.
• Charge RN/Preceptor role required.

Requirements

• Ohio RN License or BLS (American Heart Assoc.) and ACLS (American Heart Assoc.) certifications.
• Diploma of Nursing or BSN degree.

Qualifications

Experience in progressive care units, particularly in stepdown/tele settings, is preferred. Prior NIHHS stroke certification and leadership experience are also preferred.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in critical care nursing are essential.
