Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Stepdown unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in Stepdown nursing
• Current BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on location
• Valid RN license and/or certification in the state of practice
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass background and drug screen
