Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,494 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for an assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. This 13-week position starts August 2, 2026, with the possibility of other openings in the same market.

About the Role

This travel nursing assignment is in a Level 1 trauma center, focusing on trauma and general medical/surgical patients. The role requires strong assessment skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex trauma patients, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic fractures, and respiratory issues.
• Care for patients requiring reconstructive plastic surgery, diabetic management, and complex wound management.
• Manage bipap, interpret blood gases, and care for tracheostomies and chronic vent-dependent patients.
• Titrate drips such as cardizem, labetalol, and amiodarone.
• Perform basic EKG interpretation.
• Work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license (willingness to wait for licensure if necessary).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center with trauma and general medical/surgical patients.
• BSN not required.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Pay
