Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,388 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, at a 36-hour per week, 12-hour shift, night position in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in managing patients requiring step-down care
• Monitor and adjust patient medications as needed
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in stepdown care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (certifications vary by location)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid driver's license
• Background check and drug screen required

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
