About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment at a hospital on the Colorado border near Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Perform basic patient care tasks such as administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with treatments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wyoming.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in step-down care preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of step-down care protocols.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
