Job Summary

The healthcare professional specializing in step down units in PORT HURON, Michigan, will provide comprehensive nursing care within the designated unit following established hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care. This position involves delivering patient-centered care during night shifts, with responsibilities aligned to the scope of practice for the role in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 07/27/2026

Required Qualifications

• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid state license in Michigan
• 2 years of step down experience
• Strong cardiac proficiency
• Willingness to float
• Travel experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in travel nursing
• Familiarity with step down care units

Additional Information

Responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice following hospital policies and procedures, must be willing to float between units as needed

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
