Travel Step Down RN - $2,608 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Stepdown assignment in Cleveland, Ohio.

About the role

This assignment lasts 20 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 11, 2026. The shift is 12 hours, rotating, with a total of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Stepdown/PCU unit.
• Demonstrate ECG rhythm recognition and complete safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Requirements

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty (preferably within one location).
• 18 months of recent Stepdown experience; travel experience will suffice.
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and in hand at submission).
• One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months (not from co-workers).
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation (two attempts maximum).
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical or religious exemptions only).
• Nicotine-free (negative 10-panel plus nicotine/cotinine drug screen within 12 months of start, updated annually).
• BCI/FBI fingerprints completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
