Travel Step Down RN - $2,440 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position with an opportunity to extend. The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in the Stepdown Unit, with potential to float to other units as needed.

Schedule

Shifts are 3×12 hours, with day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 and night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Rotation between shifts may occur based on operational needs. Must work at least every other holiday.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care activities and progress accurately.

Requirements

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required.
• Recent Stepdown Unit experience; PCU/Progressive care experience preferred.
• Active Ohio or Compact State Nursing License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
