About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PCU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in telemetry and cardiac monitoring, along with the ability to interpret dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain cardiac rhythm evaluations.
• Administer medication, including IV insulin protocols and drips, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Float within the healthcare system as needed to meet patient care requirements.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant setting.
• Previous telemetry experience is required.
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
• Must be available to work every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights).

Schedule

• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
