Travel Step-Down RN - $2,067 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for an assignment in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This 13-week position starts on August 9, 2026, with a 36-hour workweek on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Care for a wide variety of patients, including stroke, cardiac (preferably with cardiac drips), post-operative patients (e.g., orthopedic, genitourinary, gynecological, general surgery), and general medical patients
- Adapt to different patient needs and unit requirements
- Float onsite or to other sites within 40 miles, if needed
Requirements
- Active Nursing License verified via Nursys
- Driver’s License or State ID
- At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical (MS) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) experience
- Experience with EPIC (Electronic Health Records System)
- Travel experience preferred
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification)
- Personal health history checks, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, 2 Step PPD OR IGRA, and others as specified
- Fit Test and Influenza Vaccine (optional)

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
