Travel Step Down RN - $1,958 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Step Down Unit. The position involves caring for patients with conditions such as Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:4 in a unit with 16-20 beds.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Step Down Unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Active RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Pay & Schedule

Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency. Ask your ARMStaffing recruiter for details! Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
