Travel Step Down RN - $1,862 per week

About the role

Located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Start date: 11/02/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel. We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a stepdown unit and be well-versed in telemetry monitoring. You will work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to assess and manage varying levels of acuity is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of typically 1:4, with flexibility during emergencies.
• Provide care for cardiac patients and those requiring progressive care or telemetry monitoring.
• Utilize skills in IV start, telemetry, and nursing assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5‑2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of stepdown nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in WV or a compact state.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to read telemetry strips is essential.

3x12 Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, weekdays with some weekends required.
