Travel Step Down RN - $1,835 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse in the IMCU will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit. The patient population will include individuals with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse issues, and encephalopathy. The successful candidate will manage medication administration, including heparin drips, and work with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to IMCU patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU/IMCU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
