Travel Step-Down Registered Nurse - $1,799 per week

About the role

The Stepdown RN will provide high-quality care to patients in a stepdown unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patients’ vital signs, administering medications, and managing patient care plans to ensure optimal recovery and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a stepdown setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
• Perform required technical procedures and manage medical devices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, preferably in a stepdown or telemetry unit.
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS certification preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x12-hour shifts, nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a holiday rotation and weekend requirements every other weekend.
